The Freckled Page is a woman-owned independent bookstore in Greenville, Illinois. We believe the right book at the right time can change everything and we take that seriously.

We opened our doors because we wanted a place where readers feel at home, where recommendations come from people who actually read the books, and where the shelves reflect our community. No algorithm, no bestseller list pressure, just books we love and think you will too.

We host three monthly book clubs, storytime for kids, author nights, and the occasional glass of wine. Come in for a book. Stay because it’s your kind of people.
